People all over the world are concerned about the outcome of the 2018 vote. Their lives too are at stake with Donnie and the GOP having free reign.

New Jersey does not have in person early voting of any kind. There is no excuse absentee voting, but no in person vote at all. I wonder how many of the other states listed are the same.

I wasn't saying you were misleading, just that the information given seems to lump early voting and absentee voting together when they are totally different things.

The problem with absentee voting is that you have to plan it by requesting a ballot by a certain date and then return the ballot. With in person early voting all you need to do is show up at the polls when they are open.

I now live in red NC where we have early voting after moving from NJ, which only recently adopted no excuse absentee voting but has no early in person voting. For goodness sakes, why?

I don’t understand why a blue state like New York hasn’t embraced early voting. We’ve had it here in NC for awhile, and I love it! States should make it easier for people to vote. In this day and age, what is the rationale for only having one day? I don’t get it....

.....I was making calls to Democrats in Hartford for Dan Malloy's first campaign on election day. We were still calling people right up to 8 PM when the polls closed. I called an older woman at around 7:30 and reminded her to get out to vote. She said she was tired, she'd "probably vote tomorrow or Thursday"!!

tried to reduce her SS. One thing that repugh voters do well is that they vote in all elections, everyone on our side need to learn to get their vote in early and sure. Repugh have far more influence over state and national politics and policy than we do because their voters vote, while lots of ours find reasons not to vote or vote strategically.

Ballots were mailed out on October 15, and as of today, people can go in person and vote, mail in their ballot, or simply take the ballot to a secure drop-off point. I'll be taking in my ballot this evening.
