Lee Stranahan, a Republican who used to be DU-er, smears Keith Ellison (D-MN)

Keith Ellison (D) is running for MN Attorney General. I'm voting for him.

Karen Monahan dated Keith Ellison. They lived together from 2015 to 2016. She says that he got physical with her exactly once: the morning after they broke up, he unsuccessfully tried to get her to move out by trying to pull her out of bed by her feet.

Ellison denies doing that. An investigation commissioned by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (MN's Democratic Party) found the accusation "unsubstantiated."

Lee Stranahan hosts a right-wing talk show. Today, he tweeted, "Coming on today’s episode of @FaultLinesRadio- our interview with @atensnut Juanita Broaddrick about her story of being raped by @BillClinton and the dangers of taking on the Democrat machine. Vital listening while there is no justice for @keithellison accuser @KarenMonahan01."

Stranahan makes it seem like Keith Ellison is a rapist. He's not. He's not being accused of raping anyone.

Also I read the report you linked to a few days ago (I think) and it does seem that Monahan has changed her story from the initial report. I don't understand why DFL would be the investigating party. The whole situation is weird.

11. A Berniecrat is a Democrat who likes Bernie Sanders.

Karen Monahan didn't file police charges over having her feet pulled while in bed (which is reasonable not to contact the police for) and she didn't sue (which is reasonable not to sue for), and so the DFL hired a law firm to investigate.

Congressman Keith Ellison also called for a US House investigation. He's retiring from the House this term, and so it's unclear if that will be finished before he leaves.
