But what if it was staged? A man with a temper just sat there while someone banged on the table, knocking their doggy bag on the floor and stomping on it! Have to wonder if they are trying to show an angry mob? I maybe be wrong, but then again? A bit fishy!

(13,305 posts)And anyone who says otherwise is a fool. Our elected leaders sure as fucking shit aren't going to hold these pieces of shit who are destroying lives accountable so we the people have to.
The absolute bare minimum LEAST these evil monsters deserve is to be annoyed when they are out in public. If that's the worst they suffer then they are getting off easy.

(1,483 posts)In their "regular people" costumes, just chillin'.
No way. They go to posh places, where the Maitre D says, "Right this way Ms Chao.." and they never have to look at or interact with the 99 percent whilst eating.
I'm not buying the act. Elaine "Privacy Time Fridays" wouldn't go to that joint just cause it's helps night off and "I really don't want to cook." Nope octopus.

(13,305 posts)Sorry, I just couldn't get past the supposition that they should be able to enjoy anything.

Oops. Sorry. I don't sound humane and compassionate. You'll all have to forgive me for wanting to crush pure evil into a fine powder. You see, McConnell cannot be rehabilitated. He will always be evil for as long as his heart beats. He can't be anything else. Trumpy's the same way.
Some notable on the MSM said the other day that the political discourse must change because there is no one political opponent who's "evil." Wow. Was that person wrong. I found TWO without lifting a finger.

(6,148 posts)they aren't discriminating on the basis of some innate feature or something he can't help.
They are discriminating based on his actions and policies. If he came into the restaurant and shat on the floor, you could kick him out. So, frankly, if his policies shit all over the American people, he can be banned from a restaurant.

(51,597 posts)It never occurred to me but when I read about it I started to consider the possibility that is was staged and I believe it could have been. Someone needs to follow up on the guy who did it and see if he is legit.

(22,913 posts)is that overall we are better off trying to restrain political battles within certain lines because once those norms are shattered that some forms of protest are off limits, all bets are off for everyone, and a retaliatory cycle sets in that makes day to day life increasingly tense and even dangerous for people on all sides of divisive issues. In a sense it is the early warning canary in the coal mine argument. American society to date is dedicated to the proposition of ballots, not bullets, as the way to resolve even epic disputes. In many nations elections happen with significant numbers of assassinations occurring at local levels when tempers start to run high.
