Last minute momentum really counts, usually. But I'm hesitant to be TOO hopeful.

It's shaping up good, though.

He cut funding massively for the agencies that would have dealt with this, was hostile to global warming science, and oriented state government in general to be hostile to protecting the environment.

Even the hurricane, originally thought to have helped Scott, I think actually hurt him when viewed with some perspective. This was another in a series of record hurricanes.....has to get many Floridians thinking about his rejection of global warming.

Then throw in his Medicare fraud and the concomitant evocations of the fifth amendment......not to mention his close connection to Trump, who is reviled in most of the Hispanic community.....Gillum drawing record African American voters......I don't think he can beat all of that.

Scott backs coal, people are paying $260-$400 electric bills this late in the year. In the end, the shit that he has promoted is coming back to haunt him.

is finally sinking in. You don't reduce benefits 10 years out to make up for the deficit happening NOW....you cut benefits NOW and redirect the SS surplus into general fund

A big swath of the red panhandle still doesn't have power or reliable communications after the hurricane, I wonder if that is suddenly skewing the poll numbers possibly?

Either way. As a Miamian I have to believe it will be typical Florida...decided by less than 3 points and probably less than 2.

Granted, I've been out of the state for a week while vacationing in Boston but difficult to believe anything significant happened since I left.

I'm poll watching for early voting and haven't had a chance to vote yet, but will next week when my weeklong shift is over. Another for sure vote for Nelson and Gillum and Dems up and down the ballot. Also excited about voting for Prop 4, 2nd chance for felons who have served their time.
