(22,236 posts)I don't know exactly what it is about his commercials, but every time his face appears on the tube, I can't reach for the remote fast enough. Maybe it's also because I bought one of his pillows and it was the worst thing I've ever laid my head on. It was like lying on a bag of dried up clumps of sawdust or styrofoam pellets.
The my pillow is horrible and so are his pillows!
I never bought one, but had a small sample pillow. I never liked it and threw it away.

(7,683 posts)whatever they did a bunch of years ago ! Also i was teaching violin to two brothers at the time whose parents refused to have tv in the house and I was so impressed by their intelligence and imagination.
I live alone and to be honest, for a few weeks I'd pass the now-silent tv to put it on to have some "company" and giggle and keep walking. Then I got used to the quiet.
I can see (almost) anything I want on youtube or as dvds (tv shows, series) from the library (which I inevitably binge watch.)

No radio or television ads and we like it that way.
