OK, as I sit here going through my Washington state pamphlet

I keep seeing all of this he/she made this much money on campaigning. I do not understand why how much money they make makes a difference as to why I should or should not vote for them. It is also very irritating that no matter how much I look I can not find out who the Non Partisans may have voted for. They are running on Non Partisan but who did they more than likely vote for when the presidential vote took place? Am I missing something here?

1. Google their names. What types of groups do they belong to? Who are they photographed with?

Doesn't your local Democratic party have recommendations? We don't vote for judges, but they usually make recs on soil and water commish and school board members.

3. A few options

The Stranger always publishes their highly opinionated endorsements and often has interesting info about candidates. Decidedly profane.

NARAL Wa has pro-choice endorsements:

WA Democrats has a handy map. Click on the map and you’ll see local contact info for your district as well as a link to that district’s web site, if they have one. Click on that link and look for endorsements by your local district.

Oops. Initially posted wrong link for Stranger. Corrected now.

4. I looked up the endorsements of the Democratic party.

Got the names of some I could vote for. If in doubt, vote against republican recommendations.

7. The Progressive Voters Guide (and others) will tell you the political party

of the non-partisan races. And if there are 2 Democrats running in the same race, they'll give you info, including endorsements, to help you decide.
