Trump is not going to resign. It is too ingrained in his belief system to "win at all cost". Resigning would would not be winning. A more likely scenario is that when the Dems win control of the House (and hopefully the Senate) he will declare that it was a rigged election and will not recognize the new Congress as valid and tell Republican incumbents not to give up their seats and if they didn't do that he would not recognize any actions taken by the new Congress as valid. That would articles of impeachment passed by a new House and even if new Senate voted for conviction and removal from the office as President, he would likely say he is not vacating the Presidency because it was all done by a invalid Congress.

Talk about a Constitutional Crisis! Whey would we do then - send US Marshals to physically carry him out of the WH screaming and kicking? He probably has enough "friendly Generals" to protect him by barring them from entering the WH. What then?
