In 1965, the Supreme Court ruled we have a right to contraception. Doug Wardlow (R-MN) disagrees.
The race for MN Attorney General is between Keith Ellison (D) and Doug Wardlow (R).
Im voting for Keith Ellison.
In 1965, the Supreme Court ruled that the US Constitution has an implicit right to privacy, including a right to contraception. The case was "Griswold v. Connecticut," and it was a 7-2 ruling.
Doug Wardlow wrote in 2004 against the use of activist courts to subvert the will of the people and foist liberal social values on society by fiat. The Massachusetts same-sex marriage decision is a prime example, as are the Texas sodomy case, Roe v. Wade and even Griswold v. Connecticut, the seminal contraception case. https://www.realdougwardlow.com/news/2018/10/28/wardlow-access-to-contraception-goes-against-american-values
Keith Ellison is pro-choice on abortion. He's never questioned if we have a right to contraception. I'm voting for Ellison.
