Remember the murders of Chaney, Goodman and Schwener, known as the “Freedom Summer murders,” who were civil rights workers abducted and killed in Mississippi in 1964. Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwener were from New York City and James Chaney was from Meridian, Mississippi. They were working with the Freedom Summer campaign by registering Blacks to vote in Mississippi. They paid with their lives. #vote

Today, we are witnessing first-hand voter suppression tactics employed that are bold, brazen and unapologetic. Black and brown people have always been the targets. Now it’s our Red brothers and sisters, Native Americans in North Dakota. Several years ago their movement gave witness to our nation the national spotlight against the Dakota Access Pipeline on Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation. Could the Voter ID laws now requiring a street address be retaliation for such action?

2016 was the most important election of our lifetime and we screwed that up...well some of us did by not voting and ignored the Russian threat.



This. A nonpresidential year is more crucial than the last. The pResident has declared himself a Nationalist. Not the pResident of the people, only white people that they deem clean enough to join their ranks. The MAGA's are MAGGOTS feeding off America.
