Ahead of Midterms, Wisconsin's Scott Walker Activates National Guard

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has taken the unusual step of activating his state's National Guard, activating their cyber security team prior to the election.

While details are scant, walker's Executive Order asks the National Guard to, "provide essential services to the Wisconsin Elections Commission."

Walker is in a difficult race against Tony Evers. Evers, a democrat, is up on Walker by 5 points.

Reid Magney, a spokesperson for the Wisconsin Elections Commission, told the Associated Press that he couldn't recall any previous election with such an order being issued. The National Guard has only had a cyber security tea, since 2016.

I anticipate a slew of these actions in the next 12 hours. The GOP knows no shame and will stoop to the lowest of lows to maintain power where they cannot maintain a mandate from the people.

Trump will do some really fucking bizarre shit before the news shows tonight, to take the focus OFF of the polls and shifts towards Dems seen in the last 24 hours and onto his giant orange ass (as always).

The rest of the scumbags will start bleating about 'election fraud' and 'voting irregularities' like the sheep they are, but of course none of them will have even a scintilla of evidence for the charges.

I hate that so many of my fellow citizens are such abject cowards and so fearful of EVERYTHING. 9/11 changed us alright...and not in any good ways at all. We are still seeing the repercussions of that horrible day some 17 years later. I am blown away by that...but when it comes to facts, the general population remains impervious to truth.

1) Saddam was NOT involved in 9/11 ... AT ALL!
2) Iraq NEVER attacked the USA.
3) Muslims in New Jersey were NEVER seen celebrating or even existing in large groups that day...
4) The GOP failed to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden for the rest of Bush's terms...it was not until Democratic President Barack Obama took office that the necessary steps were taken to end that manhunt.
5) Those wars are STILL not over and our troops REMAIN in harm's way today...

In every one of those factual statements, you will find right wing shitheads that say the "facts" are in doubt...as usual and always, they are lying badly. I would actually be MORE SURPRISED if the GOP did not try to cheat and obfuscate with this as well...

There has been practically no real dem voter fraud....neither is there evidence of foreign interference on behalf of the dems despite Trump claiming both. So maybe this time they'll be CREATING the impression of irregularities so that there's some reason to claim validation re Trump's claims of China and Russia interfering on behalf of dems...re Trump's failed voter fraud commission....re Scott Walker's mobilization of national guard...re DOJ presence in 35 carefully selected precincts...re Kemp's claims that dems are hacking Georgia systems??

They've already used stealth data mining and social media as tools against dems. That might be played out by now. This time they would rely on other tools, other approaches? Something they've planned for two years? Fake dem election and voter fraud? They will exclaim that the gop was RIGHT ALL ALONG?

How hard would it be for hackers to create a false impression of election and voter fraud? Probably not much harder than what they did in 2016?
