Senate race run off? Actually I don't understand why he was restricted anyway since neither Trump nor Pence were on the ballot.

Besides, losing the House majority will piss him off mightily, since the House is the source of all funding bills.

I predict he's going to be pissed.

He'll want to seize the headlines away from the "Trump historically repudiated" narrative.

When he realizes the game is over and he and his unholy spawn are probably going to jail.

Just like him to take the cowards way out.

... cause it's a sign he's about to do something more stupid and doesn't want people around him who'll snitch.

tomorrow, within the next few days. The Trumpster's been itching to fire and replace Sessions which means Rosenstein's head will be on a platter. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is expected to leave and I wouldn't be surprised if the DHS Secretary is on her way out. Mnuchin is also expected to take a hike (his wife has complained about being mistreated in the press; people have made fun of her, boo-hoo). Then there's Zinke. Hoping he gets the axe. The Mattis rumors are worrisome because he appears one of the few sane members of the Administration.

In parallel to all that is Mueller and his team working quietly behind the scenes but no doubt ready to step back into the headlines shortly with news on Stone, Don, Jr and the rest of the circus.

We only think we've seen drama thus far. The fireworks have only just begun

Sessions and Rosenstein are going to be fired quickly. However replaced will fire Mueller. This is about buying time and creating confusion. The more the better. It will also be an attempt to bait the new House into proceeding with impeachment. He is willing to gamble on the Senate acquittal.
