Obvious, but still, Congrats to future Governor Gavin Newsom.

...with that said, good luck, you got some big shoes to fill with outgoing Governor Jerry Brown.

He's not afraid to grab the bull by the horns like Brown....but Brown has more experience in doing so. Not saying that is good or bad, new blood in this arena is a good thing.

With that said, I know how hard it is to follow someone who has accomplished much. But pretty sure Newsom is up to the challenge.

Hell, with any luck and I'm "day dreaming here", California will finally send to the White House a Democratic President after sending two, granted, marginal to the red states, Republican ones.
