He ran an ugly, horrible race and just confirmed to all of Washington state that he is the biggest loser.

...and I suspect it’s not an official “victory speech,” but rather a “things are looking good” statement/pep-talk. A 53-47 lead is great news but, with Washington’s mail-in ballot system, I wouldn’t expect this contest to be called for days, if not weeks. By Friday, we should know whether there’s any chance of late ballots changing the result or not.

While our district may still be in doubt, let’s celebrate the re-election of Maria Cantwell and the demise of Trumper ex-newsanchor Susan Hutchinson. Think her next career destination will be Faux Noise?
