We almost got a fourth flip in the 32nd District north of Austin. The race between the army captain MJ Hegar (D) and Rep. John Carter ended up 51%-48%. That district includes Williamson County where I went to college. The Beto effect added about 5%-7% for Democrats in most races. I only wish that the race for governor would have been more competitive because that could have flipped a few more races.

This was the congressional district that has always been on the list of those that could be flipped. The NYT still has a blurb stating that Hurd won.
