"Fiscal conservatism" is bullshit
You want your government to SPEND the tax dollars that it collects and you want it to spend money where it does the greatest good. That's the purpose of having a government in the first place. Any government that doesn't spend money on all of its citizens isn't a government at all. It's a parasite.
Fiscal conservatism has given us nothing more that blown up deficits. In other words, we're spending money that we don't even have.
Fiscal conservatism has given us nothing more than the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. So-called fiscal conservatives are ONLY concerned with lowering taxes on the rich, and shifting resources back to people who already have money, on the backs of everyone else.
Fiscal conservatism is the opposite of fiscal responsibility… It's the opposite of fiscal accountability.
I should say that fiscal conservatism has at its heart dog whistle politics… Santorum: "I Don't Want to Make Black Lives Better."
Let's get rid of the fiscal conservatives and elect people who are fiscally accountable, responsible and wise instead.
