He isn't even coming to terms with the fact that he lost the House.

(5,914 posts)No one falls for his bullshit except the willfully stupid, of whom there are a lot in this country.
If he hadn't had a rich daddy, he'd be serving his fourth or fifth stretch in the joint now for fraud, embezzlement, and general petty larceny.

Dave Starsky
(5,914 posts)He'd commit car burglaries and such just to continually have "three hots and a cot" offered to him in the county jail.
He really does have no redeeming qualities.. I've never, ever seen anyone like him. EVERYONE has something they're good at, something that requires knowledge, skills, or experience that most of the rest of us don't have. I have NEVER seen him demonstrate mastery of any subject whatsoever. My daughters exhibited better professional business skills and behavior selling Girl Scout cookies in the 2nd grade.

(24,092 posts)Good point.
The only thing he excels at is being a crude, crass, coarse, common and clueless bully. (How's that for an alliterative run?)
Dave Starsky
(5,914 posts)I see you had to stop it at "bully", because that's just what he is, and you can't find a synonym for that.
The man is, and always has been, a common bully.

(5,914 posts)No one has ever thanked me, but no one has ever complained.
The whole country is tired of Trump. He has exhausted us all. Even his more fairhful cultists will feel years older next April when they realize how badly they got fucked on the tax deal. They're just tolerating him now.

(22,977 posts)Last night, early on, CBS had on some bozo (can't remember his name) who had an "inside scoop" on a briefing held around 4 pm that informed Hair Furor the House damage would be minimal. So minimal that it would be a "resounding success" for him. A shattering success!
Methinks BLOTUS took it to heart and we all know reality isn't within his reach.

(9,675 posts)His words are for the edification of his fanboys and fangirls only. They care not a whit about his honesty. They only know those words get their juices flowing, their emotions roiling, their indignance stoked. He's the mad scientist and they're Pavlov's dog.
Something tells me that Pavlov's dog had enough intelligence, though, not to dig his own grave and roll over and play dead in it.

(63,221 posts)I am just worried about what he is going to do when all of this fully sinks in. He thinks he helped win senate races for candidates that were never expected to win which is bullshit. The Dems in those races were a long-shot and it's amazing that they did as well as they did. He is completely delusional.

(2,017 posts)Keep in mind, the Trump campaign had not written an acceptance speech for the 2016 election until Florida was called for him after 11 o' clock on election day. No, what you are watching is a con man, with no political experience or interest, who did not want or expect to win in 2016, doing only what he knows how to do - continue to con and play to his base. No career politician with a political future would act this way. Insane? Sure, in a way. But this is an "act" for his base from a con artist/meglomaniac/narcicist with no political past or future who knows nothing else.

(28,863 posts)Today I hear pundents saying how politically savvy he is. I also heard a guy named Dowd, I think, say how happy Trump is to go up against Pelosi because she is as universally disliked as he is.
Already? God I hate them so much. Nancy is not hated as much as he. Nobody is. Cept maybe Ted Cruz. Oh, maybe Mitch McConnell.
Hmmm or Grassley, or Kochs, or Graham.
Oh I give up....
I stopped listening the that Fuck Nut during his ill-gotten campaign! What he's doing is his shtick, he knows no other game. The best way to combat a megalomaniacal, narcissistic, misogynistic buffoon is to ignore him. If he's on TV, I turn the channel, radio, turn the station, computer, swipe the screen...The mass media should follow suit. Give Agolf Twitler no quarter, no free time and question EVERYTHING! Until we make his life as miserable as he has made ours, he wins!!!

(37,011 posts)Why is Trump 'allowing' violence done to Americans?
When Trump accepted the GOP nomination:
"I have a message for all of you: the crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon come to an end," he said. "Beginning on January 20th, 2017, safety will be restored."

(7,142 posts)Trump just fired Sessions and put one of his cronies to take Rosenstein's place with the purpose of ending the Mueller investigation.
You can't play games with scorpions. Any talk of oh we can't bring up impeachment, we need to work with Republicans, we can't let Trump have ammunition for 2020, well folks the time is now, Trump has taken control over the Mueller investigation, being silent means that Trump is above the law.
