Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen. Trump has announced the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a move clearly intended to pave the way for removing Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Matthew Whitaker will now become acting attorney general. Not surprisingly, last year Whitaker wrote that the Mueller investigation is going to far.
The writing is on the wall. Trump's plan is clear: Once Sessions is out of the way, he'll fire Rosenstein, then Mueller, and suppress any findings. With Democrats in control of the House, Trump will now test the limits of the rule of law like never before.

If they think they're going to suppress this stuff, they are truly deluded.

(6 posts)6. Unfortunately
It a loooong time till January and a lot can be done to fold spindal and mutilate this investigation before the Dems take possession of the House.
"what investigation? There is no investigation living here. Wait a second, Hey, have you seen an investigation laying around?"
