NM Goes ALL BLUE!

In what has been described as a "stunning turn of events" Democrat Xochitl Torres Small was declared the winner in NM 2nd Congressional district. She defeated Yvette Harrell a Trump puppet in a very red district that was open because Congressman Steve Pearce resigned to run for Governor. (He Lost!) What makes this even more dramatic, is that Ms. Harrell gave her acceptance speech last night. Ha ha ha! It gives us NM Dems so much satisfaction to have flipped that seat!

BTW,NM is the new Texas when it comes to Gas and Oil. This State has suffered for years to find resources to serve is Citizens.Talk about timing for the Dems to take over. Sand wiched between Texas and Arizona, times are a changing for the better.

A strong argument can be made the Greens (AGAIN) spoiled the Democratic Senate win in Arizona to be fair, but I like New Mexico's culture far better anyway. I won't be spending another dime in Florida anytime, much less living there.

Between the bugs, the humidity and the green algae, I never want to step foot in that place again.

Never been to NM, but I know some people from there, and they're very cool, so place must be cool too.

The Red Tide on Florida's coast is so toxic it's like breathing in pesticides and the people of Florida vote for those who want no regulations. The toxic air travels over 3 miles inland.....

I'm in the high desert in the middle of the state with super clean air.

NM sounds wonderful. Sounds like the high desert around Apple Valley east of L.A., but without the meth labs.

Harrell is even further right than Pearce so this is even more than fantastic

New Mexico’s blue wave was huge!

And it goes to show that a candidate should not concede till all the votes are counted!

acceptance speech! There's a lesson in there somewhere.

Congrats to Xochitl Torres Small!

What a comeback! There must have been a lot of people who changed their minds about trump.

Thank You, Desert grandma

Colorado and NM are the buffers against Utah and Texas. So happy for you Colorado! Yes, it is a very sweet victory. We have been waiting 2 years for this satisfaction. Here in NM Dems won every Federal office. In addition, Dems control both state houses and will have an exciting new Governor in Michelle Lujan-Grisham. Here in the Land of Enchantment we can finally sleep peacefully at night!

American Southwest and the Land of Enchantment, its interesting diverse culture and history, the gorgeous land and vibes. Huge health quality and charm factors.

We've spent many happy vacays in Santa Fe, and enjoyed Taos, Albuquerque, Sedona and a good deal of the West.

Still adore Florida especially the heavenly Keyes, and the Caribbean, tied with New Mexico for relocation.

Never ever So Cal, coastal CA or PNW. Seen it all. Not the people, place or climes, for a second or penny. Nope.

I’m so happy to be represented by a Dem in the House, finally. And the cherry on top is that we have a Democratic governor also.
