5. I hate to say it but it might be a security issue with the rain. Because they

could not go with the helicopter because of rain. Helicopters can take multiple routes. The highway and road to a somber memorial may number 1 or 2 routes at most. Maybe France is considered and extra threat?

8. Security Risk for President Trump may be higher. I know that when

George H. W. Bush stayed in Vancouver for Expo '86 they kicked out all the people in the floors above and below him. And of course he got the whole middle floor. And he was only VP. Think how the world has changed in the last 32 years. And think that the SS is not going to comment on security details. And neither should the president. Maybe Trump is more at risk than Macron or Merkel. Just a thought. I don't know it for a fact.

I'm not clear how bad low cloud and rain were where he was due to fly from, but at the ceremony location itself, it seemed to amount to intermittent drizzle.
