From my perspective, Democrats simply need to move forward positive in the knowledge that they are the party that looks and acts like who we are as a country.

It doesn't matter who is House speaker this time around, not really.

Let the demographic wave push Democrats forward over the next few elections.

Just focus on passing policies that help people.

That is all that's needed.

These inside baseball cat fights over the old guard folks is just a useless distraction.

The new generation is coming. Women are ascending.

Let them take their place at the head of the table as we move ahead. The timing of these changes is irrelevant as the change over is inevitable.

We went into the 2018 mid-terms thinking we might have a 10-12 point shift left, based on all of the special elections in 2017.

Looks like we did it.
