Approximately $30m spent by the petroleum oligarchs and it was effective in confusing the shit out of people. It should have been clear that this was to fight climate change and the tax would be on the companies to help peopl navigate our way through this change. There was a ton of great things in the bill, lots to learn and not much time.

Funded by big oil played over and over. There was one by Inslee in favor of the bill, but it was not played nearly as often as the con ads. The con ones were lie after lie after lie. It was disgusting.
