Lou Dobbs loses it after Trump-appointed judge sides with CNN's Jim Acosta

Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs on Friday lashed out at a federal judge who ordered the White House to reinstate the press pass of CNN’s Jim Acosta.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly, who was appointed by Donald Trump, temporarily restored Acosta’s press credentials after the White House revoked them following a spat with the president last week.

Fox News, the sister network of Fox Business, had filed an amicus brief supporting Acosta.

“Fox News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential,” Fox News announced. “Secret Service passes for White House journalists should never be weaponized.”

9. Years ago Dobbs had a financial spot on CNN and it was pretty watchable;

somewhat conservative but not crazy. But at some point he lost the plot, started going off on immigration and ended up at Fox, where he's become a right crackpot, even by their standards.

both me and my Mom used to watch his daily financial show on CNN (we also used to watch PBS's Louis Rukeheser do "Wall Street Week" and his dad Merryle too, when he was on as a guest).

But then something happened... like he snapped... And ended up basically getting fired and off the cliff he went, where his true colors came out. Looking at some history on that - apparently he had issues in the late '90s with the-then CNN head and breaking news regarding Clinton & Colombine cutting into his show, and it went downhill from there with birther stuff, etc.

15. The way I understand it.

The White House doesn't have to let any reporters in at all, but once they do, the First Amendment sides with the news organizations to send in their choice. It's all in, or none in. It will be interesting to see this case continue.
