Not Social Democrats or Democratic Socialist. Labels are important and Social Security is the bedrock program we inherited from FDR. And FDR is the father of the modern Democratic Party. Oh, my mistake, FDR is the father of the modern "Democratic Social Security Party."

4. I'm not terribly proud this morning. My SS check did not get deposited.

It is sent automatically anddid not show up this month. I am now awaiting a call back from SS to see what's up.

5. I am proposing we use "Social Security Democrat" as our party name

You know as we move left, the Republicans will label us "Socialist" which they will equate to Communist. So let us relabel ourselves, and not give them a chance to do it first. They will protest and mock us, but this helps describe who we really are. Besides, what program could they attach to themselves which would help describe them? The Republican Wall Party?
