Deer in my yard are chill
...I'm chill.
Three white-tail deer are passing the day in my suburban yard, taking advantage of the soft ground deliberately littered with leaves and pine needles, eating my plants and bushes.
They're sprawled out, digesting their food. They're chilling, I'm chilling, digesting.
We're both up all night, me at my grocery stocking job, they at theirs.
They get up occasionally to nibble a bit, then flounce back down.

This is refuge!
