Another reminder why in the short run the D party should be lockstep.

Why we should all put aside our differences and unite with one goal, remove NAZIS, remove FASCISTS, remove RACISTS from our government.

Establish in the public consciousness the fact that the Republican Party is utterly reliant upon cheating and habitual lying. We can stand to be a bit more blunt and provocative. Control the narrative.

Also, while many of us political junkies recognize the Republican tactic known as projection, Democrats need to talk openly and clearly about that tactic. Again, drill it into the public consciousness that the Republican Party projects (with enormous repetition) onto Democrats the evil they themselves exhibit. It's been a highly successful tactic, because when Democrats accuse Republicans of doing that which Republicans accuse Democrats of doing, it makes Democrats look defensive. It muddies the water. We have to undercut that tactic by helping the public (through repetition) recognize the Goebbels-esque nature of the GOP.

We've also been on the defensive for far too long when it comes to "liberal media," which (unlike conservative or right wing media) is a household term. Democratic politicians (and not just those of us venting on the Interwebs) need to raise awareness about media consolidation, about the media's habit of promoting false equivalencies, about the media's habit of treating all statements as equally valid opinions as if there are no facts (with some in the media even suggesting that it isn't their job to fact-check), and about the media's penchant for infotainment/fluff. And, yes, Democrats need to take this critique of the media to the public via the media. Republicans have been using the media to attack the media for decades now, and it's paid dividends for them.

The demographics are changing out from under them. And they can’t win on the issues because they’re hellbent on clinging to the wrong side of those issues. So they HAVE TO cheat.

Forty years!

"I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down." - Paul Weyrich, Dallas, Texas, August 1980.

And I'm guessing that thinking went back even further.

My guess is Kemp will be a lousy governor, he seems to be Trump-like incompetent. He just barely beat a Black woman after cheating. Democrats need to build their base and ESPECIALLY VOTE IN THE DEC 4 RUNOFF FOR SECRETARY OF STATE. Having a democrat running elections should go a long way toward fairness during the next election.

Kemp should be sued for fraud.

That should be the GA Dem. Party, to do that, I should think. He needs to be held accountable, and possibly booted from office, if found he did do those things wrongly.

(She has more or less conceded, though. She's just going to pursue all votes being counted and such.)

....she's going to try to change the laws in Georgia. So that a true and fair election can actually happen next time. So many votes were not counted. People had to wait hours. Polls were closed. She's going after the structure.

This is something the Dems should have done years ago in Georgia and elsewhere---we can't win in a rigged system. She's going to sue to un-rig it. Hope she then runs again. She'd win.

It IS okay to be outraged. If they get away with taking voters' rights away, then they'll do it again, over and over. Who knows how many times they've done that in the past.

How do we address this when the avg US Citizen doesn’t want to (or too busy with 2 jobs and three kids) find out what’s going on? Too many just say “all politicians are corrupt.”

Any other democracy would be DEMANDING a re-vote in Florida. Over a million people had their voting rights stolen!!!!
