7. Bitcoin down 75% off highs

Bitcoin not so good as a good currency which provides a store of value, preservation of value, stable measure of value, reputedly backed, etc.

Bitcoin is a rw favorite - so if they get burned?

I eat there when on road trips mostly because they are consistently clean and competently staffed, probably because they pay their employees better than most fast food.

31. Survey: 88% Of Evangelicals Consider Eating Chick-fil-A A Form Of Tithing
Mon Nov 19, 2018, 07:58 PM
Nov 2018
“Most of those who took part in the survey said that shoveling down a Spicy Chicken Sandwich or Chick-n-Strips from Chick-fil-A while zesty buffalo sauce dripped down the side of their mouth was equivalent to, if not altogether more spiritually beneficial, than the traditional form of tithing,” said head researcher Pastor Douglas Williams.

“This is not a complete shock to us,” Williams continued. “In fact, we first conducted this survey based on the assumption we had that many evangelicals who choose to skip Sunday services, felt less guilty if they had at least been able to make it to Chick-fil-A sometime that week.” - EyeoftheTiber.com
Something feels wrong in my opinion.

Personally, never eaten there and never will.

It's still up 15x from where it was two years ago.

My brother-in-law convinced me to put some money in a month ago (Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Eos, and Tezos)... So of course it drops more.

Am I supposed to be ashamed that I have scrimped and saved enough over 30 years of work and military service that I can afford to invest 10K dollars without being too affected if I lose it all?

Because I'm not.

the raw numbers seem big, but percentage wise it hasn't been swinging that much.

If it hits 2% in one day, that could be ominous. If it doesn't recover by the end of the week, it could be a problem. At least it's a short week, I guess. Although that could work against it.

that our first settlers, leaving Europe forever, tucked a few impractical favorites, including a few new and fashionable treasures, into precious space to bring bits of civilization with them as promise for the future. Most died out, but some have naturalized and are in pastures and gardens today.
