https://m.24hr news channels are a bane on our democracy. The constant battle for ratings has led to more punditry with more bizarre pundits saying more and more bizarre shit

Smart, and funny, is a rare combination.
But he was quite serious about asking these guys to do real news, or real debates. "You're 35 years old and you still wear a bowtie." No contest.
