24hr news channels are a bane on our democracy. The constant battle for ratings has led to more punditry with more bizarre pundits saying more and more bizarre shit

News is less than an afterthought.

Smart, and funny, is a rare combination.

But he was quite serious about asking these guys to do real news, or real debates. "You're 35 years old and you still wear a bowtie." No contest.
