Judge REJECTS Trump's claim he can't be sued because he's president, giving go ahead for lawsuit....

.....against leader, Don Jr, Eric and Ivanka 'who used $3M from charity to help POTUS campaign'

A New York state judge rejected President Donald Trump's request to dismiss a lawsuit after he'd earlier claimed that under the US Constitution he can't be sued because he was the leader of the United States.

Justice Saliann Scarpulla of the state supreme court in Manhattan on Friday rebuked a motion from his lawyer Alan Futerfas that accused the state's Attorney General Barbara Underwood, a Democrat, of 'pervasive bias' for suing.

After a 21-month probe, Underwood came to the conclusion POTUS had been misusing funding of the Donald J. Trump Foundation to help his 2016 presidential campaign and his various businesses.

1. Another Affirmation that No One in the U. S. is Above the Law

Trump will continue to assert that as president, he cannot be prosecuted. Thankfully, we have sitting judges who believe no one, not even the president, is above the law.

All his dirty deeds were coming to light anyhow so this was a way to try and curb the assault of the "law".

3. He ran for office out of ego and to do an "in your face" to Obama

Yes, he thought that as President he'd be able to use the law and government to his advantage. This has turned out to be far more true than it should be. What he didn't consider was the repercussions of being in public office. The scrutiny. This proves, once again, he is NOT a good business man.

There are reasons why people like George Soros and other billionaires do not run for President. It may provide short-term gains but the long-term effects are most often more negative to that class of business person. That is what is going to happen to Trump and his family. The long-term effect of being President is he opened up all of them to intense scrutiny. Scrutiny that they will not be able to withstand. Not even right now while he's in office. There is no precedent, no DOJ rule preventing Ivanka, Jared and others from being indicted in state court, or in federal court just because they are White House advisors. There is no rule, nor precedent, no Constitutional clause that prevents the State of NY from charging Trump with civil and criminal charges.

The whole idea that a sitting President cannot be indicted has never been decided by a court. The GOP is the party that made the way for forcing a sitting President to submit to a deposition. Their eagerness to take down Bill Clinton has opened the door for taking down Trump.

6. ego for the run, profit after the win

I believe turdface never expected to actually win. All he wanted was tv face time, after all he was a tv star, and needed the constant adoration.

That is why we didn't hear much out of his campaign for a couple of days after winning. That was so he could figure out how to try and milk it for as much as possible.

In that, he has been extremely successful. EVERYTHING has been about the brand name, and figuring out how to make taxpayers feed his empire financially.

Someone needs to tally up all the expenses he has incurred through staying at his properties (here and worldwide), forcing others to stay at his properties (secret service, security, etc), fucking GOLFING at his properties, how much the RNC has fed him through his properties, how much all the suck-up countries have fed him staying at his properties, approving patents for the turdess....

He/they is/are probably receiving hundreds of millions a year, with a LOT of it being covered by taxpayers.

He is emoluments personified.

And the deplorables love him. Yes, I used deplorables because that is exactly what they are.

set it all in motion. That was some very expensive comedy.

Although I DO believe that Putin has been grooming him for about a decade, maybe longer. I wonder, at what point did Putin start whispering into turdface's ear about possibly running for president.....

Enquiring (sic) minds, and all.....

8. Jones vs Clinton bites the GOP
Sat Nov 24, 2018, 04:32 PM
Nov 2018

All the Republicans could think of was "getting" Pres Clinton when the "elves" (like George Conway) secretly did the legal work for Jones and her other lawyers. They got the decision they wanted that presidents can be sued for acts they committed before they took office while they are in office. They never thought beyond their noses it might someday be used as precedent against a republican president. Now it is.
