Lamborghini is creating a manufacturer series to race their new Urus SUV in Europe and the Middle East.
And the hillbillies in NASCAR have been racing pickups in circles forever. The one truth about motor vehicles is that if it exists, somebody is racing it somewhere.

(11,261 posts)The ones that are strictly passenger cars. People have been racing anything that moves forever. Nascar will have to change a lot of rules if there are no passenger cars to race? That was mostly my point. But we can get use to it if it changes. Aerodynamics will surely be an issue. Flip overs and such?

I'm not sure what they'll try, but I suspect that the time has passed for its business model, frankly.
