The circles trump and his toadies travel in is one where they are little people sucking up to the oligarchs.

Trump builds vehicles that the oligarchs use to launder money. The towers and hotels are the vehicles.

Trump is a useful tool. He owes his exisistance to the oligarchs. They could snuff him at any time.

Trump’s fear is that we find that out.
