How do you link tweets here on an iPhone?

I’ve asked this before but the reply didn’t make sense so maybe I misunderstood something. I can copy a link but I can’t paste it here. What am I missing?

1. If it pastes as "mobile", delete the "mobile" .

For instance

Take out "mobile.com" and it shows this...

3. It doesn't paste at all.

It says I’ve copied the link but when I put the cursor in the message text box it just says select/select all. I must be missing something obvious.

2. What web app are you using?

If I copy the tweet with the Twitter app, and past it into Chrome (on the iPhone), it doesn't include the Mobile tag.

4. I use Safari to access twitter. Tap the copy link to tweet icon under a tweet

Then paste here. And I remove the ?s=20

5. with my iPhone

I press on the link in the address bar, and
paste and go
paste
copy address
cancel
show up as options
I choose copy address

then in the txt box here I press again and
select
select all
paste
find in page are the options
I choose paste, link appears
