My grandfather was a gruff man who, if you did him any kindness, would start to tear up. And I'm the same way. Sometimes it's just one's emotional make-up

Favored Jeb and I bet George has always been trying to get daddy’s love. I bet that plays with his emotions,I don’t think even being president did it.

Every day of my career as a medical provider, I wish my Dad was still alive to see me. He was convinced I'd end up in prison or dead in a gutter somewhere. I'd love to rub my success in his face.

But I can't. So I don't devote as much time to thinking about it as I used to.
