So Manafort was underwater and Cohen was underwater. How badly underwater do you expect we’ll learn Trump Organization is and was?

The Russians exploited Trump’s most venal instincts and those of all the people around him. And all the election help and policy payoffs were just side shows to Trump. So long as he showed a willingness to damage Hillary Clinton in any way available, the Russians were happy to have him believe this was just about a silly tower in Moscow.

1. Trump already told us

He said, "I'm the king of debt. Who knows debt better than me?"

Let's ignore his poor grammar for the moment. Additionally, he and his daughter were once walking in New York City and they passed a homeless man on the street. Trump said to her, "That man has 8 billion more dollars than I do because of my debt."

Trump is fundamentally broke and has been for years. If one were to do a comprehensive analysis of his finances, the debts would far exceed the assets. He's the worst businessman in American history. When he goes down, a complete view of all the financial damage he's done throughout his life will be exposed.

2. Trump has been underwater since his casino fiascos

He lost The Trump Castle, Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. Just before the last one closed its doors, Trump Plaza, it was so badly maintained that it was just plain dirty. I saw worn out rugs there that were patched together with duct tape.
