CNN's Van Jones reveals why Trump's lawyers are 'terrified' after Mueller rejects written answers

Former Obama administration official Van Jones responded on-air to reports that special counsel Robert Mueller wants more from Donald Trump — and why the prospect should leave the president’s lawyers quaking.

Moments before, CNN broke news that Mueller still wants to interview Trump after reviewing his written responses to questions regarding Russian collusion and obstruction of justice, which the special counsel deemed not enough.

“Mueller’s interest in talking with the president continues, and it includes an interest in asking questions about the president’s state of mind in regards to actions under scrutiny in the obstruction probe,” CNN’s Pamela Brown reported earlier in the hour.

You just know trump is dying to try and pull his bullshit on Mueller, I'm sure he thinks he can con his way out of this if only those pesky lawyers would just let him talk!!

Word leaking out is that he is a hot mess, raging and blowing off steam. I suspect it is all he can do to hold it together to do any kind of public appearance. So a quick guess as to his state of mind is that he is confused, anxious, angry and vowing revenge. Part of him has to know that things are not going well but the narcissist side of him tells him he is smarter and one step ahead of all of the investigators. He will outfox them all.

Fortunately for the country, it is all a delusion and he will be caught in his lies and deceptions. He will never admit a thing, of course. But that won’t be needed because the evidence against him mounts every day. The people willing to tell the truth (some to save their hides, some to cleanse their souls) are starting to add up. tRump should go ahead and pack his bags. Tell Melania to do the same. The end is coming. And not a moment too soon.

One of my teachers told me Hitler would go into a fit and get down to "bite the carpet". I'm guessing now that was some old personification the teacher took literally, but at the time I imagined a mad man laying on the floor running circles while chewing up chunks of the rug like Curly on the Three Stooges.

Fifty years later and I'm picturing it again.
