has the baldness going for him, and the liberal Harrelson would probably like playing a Democrat for a change after being Steve Schmidt and some bad guys in recent years.

as I posted above, Woody may be able to do Schiff as well. Though, Woody is 57 and looks youthful, but might be a little too old for Schiff

Respectfully, nycbos, I understand that your OP is "in fun."

The problem is that what has been transpiring in our country has not been any fun. It's been illegal, perhaps treasonous and certainly dirty politics.

The primary reason that Trump was even viable as a candidate was because of his media popularity. He rode that horse into the presidency. Inspite of his profound incompetence, Trump's Q-rating (along with support from Russia) launched him into the presidency.

To be thinking about the entertainment, i.e., a movie, that will be made someday is to diminish the incredible damage that is being inflicted on our nation.

Sorry to rain on your thread but these are serious and existential issues. They're not jokes and they're not entertaining.

Most of the last two years have been spent washing around in that existential funk. For the first time it's becoming clear that we may not in fact be doomed. People are happy to think this may be a winnable fight after all. I understand the tone of the OP perfectly -- it's what Americans do, make movies about horrors survived and conquered.

Remember that humor is a survival tool. Even concentration camp survivors who lost their entire families expressed relief through humor when they were liberated. Humor helps heal.

It's been a rough ride, and it may get rougher. But humor in the face of catastrophe is a natural human reaction. I don't think it's useful to quash it.

… I was a hospital social worker and once a month I met with a group of professionals....the Child Death Review. Any child in the county who was under 18 when they passed was automatically reviewed by this group. THAT was not entertaining nor was it a joke. Whats going on today in the country today can and should be mocked.
