She makes great $ by appearing on camera occasionally and spacily saying idiotic things, while he says what they both believe. They can save her salary for college tuition for the kids.

In my opinion, George's words are a smokescreen so his wife can possibly recover from the stench of her association with trump. I'm sure he knows all that she knows and they are trying to get a head start on her next job since all trump associates will be poison when this ends.
