I hope Rachel or Lawrence give Americans a civics lesson next week on the roles, powers

Checks and balances of all three branches of government, so that folks don't buy the bullshit that will be spewed by the Con, his goons and the RW politicians and talking heads.
Go Nancy!

It's a lot of preaching to the choir. But, it's also a lot of educating about law, government and civics. He's a lawyer.

Lawrence also does education about that stuff because he did work in the senate and lots of people are watching his show now, although not enough.

While it's true that the country is in dire need of civics lessons, having either of these individuals giving them would be "preaching to the choir." The people who most need civics lessons are not watching Rachel or Lawrence. Most of their viewership already understands how the government works. The ones who need it the most would never listen to either of them, anyway, even if those lessons manage to spread beyond the MSNBC audience. The civics lessons need to come from someone who will reach a wider audience, and who are more likely to keep the attention of right-wingers. I makes me sick to have to say this, but it is going to have to come from some right-winger who hasn't completely gone over to the Dark Side, like (I'm assuming) Kindasleazzzy Rice or Clint Eastwood to get people to pay attention. Or, some retired general/admiral. Or, maybe Chief Justice Roberts. Perhaps if they also aired Rachel/Lawrence on network NBC, they'd reach a much wider audience. It needs to be seen by A LOT more than just their audience.

It would be a good thing if Democrats can be seen on the boob tube day after day, giving civics lessons to TrumPutin and his co-conspirators.
