I really feel badly for the Fed employees who were not expecting this furlough.

Especially badly for those contract employees who are low-paid and whose benefits depend on their being employed. This shit has hurt so many people.

Our family church is giving out gas and Giant $50 gift cards to all members who are affected. (1500 members)
