Ok I've been thinking for days about the shut down

and today am so mad 😠....Why look a major snowstorm in DC and all sorts of closed businesses but all the Senator's are right there with there best suits and shiny shoes having a hearing for the Trumpets attorney General but, oh no, they cannot vote to open the government and end the longest shut down in history?????? Jesus, the gall and nerve of these Senators!!!!!!

Not that I wish this to go any longer, but I think an extended gov shutdown will - one where employees stop showing up to work even though they aren’t getting paid - will show a big chunk of the population how vital the government really is. When that happens, people will finally start to care and something will happen.
