Is Giuliani "foreshadowing" some big story?

On CNN this morning, they were discussing this very subject.

Rudy was all bug-eyed and panicky-looking as he explained how he never said there was "no collusion". He just said that there was no collusion with Donald Trump.

They wondered if this was "foreshadowing" a larger story about to drop?

Of course, the Full Blood Wolf Moon is almost upon us. It should be here before Saturday evening.

I'm sure he told Donald Jr and the rest of them to do what they need to do and don't tell him directly about it. Wink Wink.

although I missed it directly, my guess is that he's trying to get out in front of possibly more being found out about Manafort's actions and how they would tied in directly to the campaign.

Personally, I think it's Rudy trying to say that Donald Trump was not the Trump Campaign.

(and I'll add I think he's serious, so I'm not going to put a sarcasm smilie up)

7. Giuliani is probably panicking because Manafort had contact with the WH since the election

Long after the campaign was over Manafort was hooking people up with Trump and/or his cohorts in the White House.

It all comes back to, "It's not the crime, it's the cover-up." And the cover-up in this case is still continuing, the same way that Nixon's cover-up of Watergate continued pretty much right up until the day he resigned.

In that he was very close to the original crime of conspiracy, if not directly involved in it.

Nixon wasn’t that closely involved in the actual Watergate break-in.

The only way Trump is better off than Nixon is that the right wing lying machine didn’t exist in the 70’s.

I suspect that there is so much evidence that Fox et al won’t be able to save Trump. They will drag out the process but there is too much hard evidence of wrongdoing with cell phone records, emails, etc. These people left trails that a blind man could follow.

Nixon probably didn't know about the Watergate break-in ahead of time and maybe didn't know about it until they had to start paying off the burglars. Nixon WAS complicit in the cover-up and that is what brought him down.

Trump was involved with the Russian conspiracy from Day 1. He has held too tight of control of his businesses to let me believe he did not have the same level of control of his campaign and administration. That is what is taking Mueller so long (even though his investigation is not as long as the one into Watergate was yet) - Mueller has to follow all the threads and they go back thirty years at least.

If the Republican Party had the integrity they did in the early 1970s, Dolt45 would be gone by now but the modern GOP does not even have that dubious level of integrity.

He's also trying to whitewash Trump's betrayal of the country by constantly shifting the narrative because the facts don't fit the Trumpian fantasy.
