I don't know why he does this, he has to know that his audience isn't thrilled with RW guests, either. But it'll be good to finally have him back, I'm looking forward to what he has to say. He showed up on Hardball last week with a preview and he wasn't smiling.

I hope they are drowned out.

And I saw him on Chris Matthews show. Wasn't he good?!

He must have something to say... Often, the mid show guest is someone non-political, like an entertainer, who has something political to say. He should be pretty interesting.

We do see athletes taking up political causes. But from what you said about him not talking to the press, he may be the most interesting part of the show!

I just watched it, that was interesting.

And I didn't mean to imply he was a jerk or anything, he just didn't like to talk to reporters

Had him on my fantasy fb team for about 2 or 3 years until he got hurt. The most I remember ever hearing him say was a polite 'no comment'. I always took it that he was just one of those guys who preferred to let his actions on the field do all the talking for him, and he sure was a badass running back.. his nickname is Beast Mode

I mean, seriously, what was the point? Just to keep Maher's name in the media during the hiatus?

Normally, I would look forward to his show, but after that, the most I can hope for is apathy.

For those that don't know what I'm thinking about:

What a waste of time. Trying to portray himself as a radical reformer. He's such a bore.
