My son live in Texas CD 2 and voted for Crenshaw's opponent, Todd Litton. I met Todd at the local democratic lawyers association. Both my son and I donated to Todd. Tx CD 2 is a heavily gerrymandered district that stretches from where my son lives to Montgomery County Texas which is a 95% white county that has two KKK chapters.
