1. Pouring wet heavy snow
here in Montana. I so wanted to see this eclipse. I sat in the hot tub for too long while the snow piled up on my head and the sky didn’t break...it did change color from the rosy “snow sky” as we call it up here to a darker almost red sky but the moon never showed herself. Hope you all saw it!

5. and, as usual, some Ghostly fun...
I'm not far from Roswell, and...
?t=25 Mysterious interstellar object floating in space might be alien, say Harvard researchers It's been dubbed a comet, an asteroid, and a new class of interstellar object. Now, a paper from Harvard astronomers suggests one more possibility into the mysterious object nicknamed "Oumuamua": Alien probe. Researchers focused on whether solar radiation pressure could explain the unusual acceleration of "Oumuamua," the first object entering the Earth's solar system from interstellar space. The paper said if solar radiation pressure is the reason "Oumuamua" is moving at high speeds, it represents "a new class of thin interstellar material" either made naturally or through artificial means. The paper's authors, which include Avi Loeb, chair of Harvard's astronomy department, suggest the object could be a "lightsail" used to propel spacecraft with solar energy. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2018/11/06/mysterious-oumuamua-object-space-alien-probe-harvard/1900213002/ |

6. Nice picture fuzzpope.
Much harder to get nice pics of a lunar eclipse than a solar one.

7. Here's a good example of current Lunar Eclipse video, with important variations from similar events:

17. I tried in 2015. The contrasts are hard to handle for lunar.
I got a few decent ones.

19. Foreign influence from REAL far away, who flew here to see the Superbowl!
Stephen Hawking issues another WARNING: the world should NOT contact aliens
STEPHEN Hawking has warned that we should NOT contact aliens and warned against inviting them to Earth. ![]() However, intelligent species from distant planets have been deciphering Superbowl broadcasts, which are line-of-sight transmissions, traveling at the speed of light, to their planets, for many years; but these space-creatures do not have Earth-currency to buy Superbowl tickets; so they're using the current eclipse to try hiding their [spooky, missile-shaped asteroid-like] (cloaked) spacecraft to watch the game in real time!
