there are polls in there that are favorable to Trump, outliers. I'm betting his approval rating is closer to 30%.

For over a year we keep hearing his polls are dropping...all the way to....37, 38, 39. 34 is by far the lowest number I've heard since he illegally entered the WH.

there are still polls like Rasmussen that have him in the 40s. Even a liberal site like Daily Kos has him at 43% positive 53% negative.

The number doesn't really matter; everyone knows that more people dislike Donald Trump than like him. The recent trend, however, in all polls is straight down.

On Dec. 21, Trump had a 49% approval rating in the Rasmussen poll. Today (and yesterday, and the past five polls, in fact), he's at 44%.

This movement is also reflected in the Real Clear Politics average. He's gone from 43.0% there to 40.9% approval average today.

It's unambiguous, regardless of the reading: fewer Americans approve of him since the shutdown began.

While its that's high for him , because soon he'll be fully exposed and in denial , and trying to lie his way out of everything, and watching it drop much lower.
