Trump tried to pull that on the Dems, when earlier his big concession for a deal was offering to temporarily restore DACA protections that he himself had stripped away. That didn't work on the Democrats. Let Trump clutch to his restored SOTU speech as his "consolation prize." It will just show off to the nation how bonkers he is anyway.
