This a.m. I was reading the comments after a WaPo article, and there was a link to a Gateway Pundit article that could possibly show that it was another person in the yearbook picture. It shows a picture of Northam standing in a group of people which included a man wearing plaid pants that could possibly be the same pants in the yearbook picture.

I had my husband look at the picture and he says they aren't the same pants, but I think the difference could be due to the quality of the pics, the lighting, etc.

Since the KKK person was significantly shorter than the blackface guy, and IF the blackface guy wasn't Northam, then he wasn't in the pic at all.

Regardless, Northam needs to go for other examples of racism, but it is interesting that he may have been telling the truth when he said it wasn't him in the pic.

Has anyone else seen this yet--or any other article that shows the group shot? (I won't post a link to the Gateway Pundit because it is a rightwing source.)

Those were flyers put out by a miner’s union supporting a Democratic ticket. Fairfax was omitted because he alone was advocating environmental regulations that, in the union’s opinion, would cost mining jobs.

and turned on the Democratic Party. We're in a huge battle for the future of our nation, and their big goal here is to split off enough of the black vote to give them victory in 2020. At this point proof of what he's now denying should matter more, but it doesn't. Too late to stop the attack from hitting home.

The allegation was first posted by Big League Politics, the same political blog that published the now-infamous yearbook photo showing someone in blackface and someone in a KKK costume, from Northam's 1984 yearbook page. ,,,,

The blog, in the post that prompted Fairfax's denial, claimed that a fellow at Stanford University said a man sexually assaulted her at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, Mass.

“Imagine you were sexually assaulted during the DNC Convention in Boston in 2004 by a campaign staffer. You spend the next 13 years trying to forget it ever happened. Until one day you find out he’s the Democratic candidate for statewide office in a state some 3000 miles away, and he wins that election in November 2017,” a post from the reported accuser said, according to the blog. “Then, by strange, horrible luck, it seems increasingly likely that he’ll get a VERY BIG promotion.” ….

“The (Washington) Post carefully investigated the claim for several months,” Fairfax’s office said in a statement. “After being presented with facts consistent with the Lt.
