Regarding Jeff Bezos and AMI

When I heard it reported that Bezos' security discovered that it was the brother of the girlfriend who turned the documents over to AMI it makes me wonder if Bezos was the victim of a dirty trickster version of a honey trap. How did the brother get access to those documents and was the girlfriend a part of it? Why isn't the media investigating the girlfriend? Perhaps Bezos needs to be sucking it up and trying to make amends with his wife.

So your speculation is not without merit. Looks like Bezos private investigator is going to turn over his findings and Bezos is reporting the blackmail attempt (where AMI wanted Bezos to drop investigation and claim they found no political motivation or they would release more embarrassing material) to authorities. Likely that SDNY will be questioning AMI/David Pecker about this as well as other pro- Trump related activities, since this blackmail activity could have violated the immunity agreement given to AMI by SDNY.

even if your supposition of what happened is true it doesn't help Pecker get out of possible extortion and blackmail charges. If Sanchez's brother is an "associate" of Carter Page and Roger Stone, I don't know what that even means, this makes this political, makes this an attempt to stop Bezos and the WaPo from publishing anti-Trump articles.

Pecker wasn't prosecuted in the McDougall case because he cooperated, but part of the deal was that he couldn't commit a crime for 3 years or his immunity goes bye bye.

It seems to me that for Pecker to risk losing his immunity what he did to Bezos had to come from someone higher up the food chain than Bezo's lover's brother. JMO. Look for Saudi Arabia to be involved. Look for Pecker to have gotten money from SA. Funny how Pecker was hurting for money and he suddenly comes up with the cash to buy out one of his competitors.
