6. I was there this morning, several pissed off people. Some closing their accounts.

I don't have an account there, my son and dil do. I was attempting to deposit money, they emptied their accounts yesterday. While I was there the ATM confiscated two customers cards, which the bank couldn't get back for them and then the ATM shut down. I had a temporary pin to deposit money raced across town, got the cash in just as that ATM shutdown. What a mess they have on their hands.

14. My son is part of their paperless program. I hadn't thought of it, my son got a text.

My son was just stationed at Egland AFB. My DIL and granddaughter moved out this morning, they are currently on their way to move into their new house with him 9 hours away. They are looking for a new bank ASAP.

10. This could happen to any bank/credit union.

The word is that there was a fire/smoke event at one of Wells Fargo's MN data center.

WF did an emergency shutdown and are standing the servers etc back up and that takes time.

BTW, they seem to be back up and stable (at for me and other people who bank with them). Now comes the time to catch up on their work.
