I have been sick with an upper respiratory thing for a couple of days and I am wrapped in a blanket with my laptop and my dvds. The West Wing is my escape. This morning it was one of my favorite episodes, "The Supremes", love that one with Glenn Close.
Just going to keep letting them run today. I don't have the strength to watch the sweating wonder on CNN or MSNBC. I will read about it on here. I know he is not telling the truth because his lips are moving.

(5,591 posts)Besides being on my top 3 favorite TV shows ever list, I have turned repeatedly to my West Wing DVDs or Netflix to help repair the wounds to my soul and psyche that our current horrifying nightmare government have caused.
While the escapism saves me somewhat, a deep sadness of the insidious danger that the reality we are faced with daily eats at me.
It is a very very strange place to be.
My powers are so few.
...But that show still keeps my hope alive.
