WATCH: Republican tries to turn Whitaker hearing into a pity party for Roger Stone

Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), the ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, on Friday used a hearing with acting attorney general Matt Whitaker to complain about the alleged mistreatment of longtime Trump confidante Roger Stone.

The Republican congressman suggested that someone in the Department of Justice had leaked information to CNN.

“Are you familiar that a CNN reporter was camped outside of Stone’s house when the FBI arrested him?” Collins asked.

“I am aware of that. It was deeply concerning to me how CNN found out about that,” Whitaker said.

1. CNN had reporters camped outside of Stone's house for weeks, if not months...

...since he, himself, kept telling everyone he was to be arrested at any moment. Rep Collins is a dolt.

He will turn on 45 in a heartbeat when he talks to Mueller and realizes he has the goods on him and Trump isn't going to pardon him.
